VIXII About Us

After months of designing, testing and refining, we are so proud to finally introduce VIXII.

Our debut collection, Irregular, celebrates the beauty of individuality — inspired by the idea that the most interesting things in nature are rarely perfectly symmetrical.

At the heart of each piece sits a lab-grown (uncut) Polki diamond, chosen for its organic form and quiet character. Every stone is naturally irregular, meaning no two pieces are ever the same.

Developing these stones took time. Months of working to perfect the durability, the finish, the enamel detailing and the craftsmanship behind every design. The result is something we are incredibly proud of — the world’s first lab-grown Polki diamonds.

You've probably seen the phrase “polki diamond” floating around and thought “okay, but what is it?” Don't worry, we've got you!

A polki diamond is a diamond in its most natural state — raw, uncut, and completely unpolished. No faceting. No geometric formula. Just the stone, as it formed. That flat moonlit surface? That slightly irregular shape? That's not a flaw. That's the whole point.

The polki cut originated in India over 2,500 years ago, and for centuries it was the stone of Mughal royalty. Artisans would set these raw stones into 24-karat gold, sometimes adding a silver foil backing to give them that distinctive warm, candlelit glow. That exact technique is still used today by the craftspeople who make every VIXII piece.

So where does “lab-grown” come in? A lab-grown polki diamond is exactly the same stone — same hardness, same chemistry, same fire — just grown in a controlled environment instead of mined from the earth. No land excavation. No murky supply chains. And significantly lower environmental impact. It's a real diamond, just made more responsibly.

How is it different from a regular diamond? Your classic brilliant-cut diamond is engineered for maximum sparkle — every facet perfectly symmetrical, placed to bounce light in one direction. A polki does the opposite. Its facets (sometimes up to a hundred on a single stone) are placed by hand, following the natural shape of the rough diamond. The result is a warm, shifting glow rather than a sharp, mirror-like flash. Think candlelight vs spotlights.

Why does VIXII use polki? Because no two stones are the same. Because the craft behind setting them is genuinely extraordinary, and because we think jewellery should have a story — one that stretches back 2,500 years and still feels completely current.

We’ve created our pieces with a modern design approach, delicate and intricate details, curated colour combinations and a selection of styles that feel uniquely you.
